When you’re ready to focus on your art instead of your taxes… let’s talk
Hi, I’m Tiffany.
Founder & CEO
As an IRS Enrolled Agent with 20+ years in tax and accounting, I specialize in helping photographers keep more of what they make while focusing on what they love—creating art.
What I Do: I translate complex tax strategies into simple, actionable advice that fits your creative workflow. From minimizing tax burden to planning equipment investments and scaling your studio, I handle the numbers so you can focus on capturing those perfect moments.
Why Photographers: Your artistic vision and entrepreneurial spirit inspire me daily. You see the world through a unique lens—I provide the financial foundation that lets you keep creating without worry.
When I’m Not Working: I'm dreaming about where I want to travel to next 🌏

When you'd rather be behind the lens than behind a spreadsheet… we get it
Hey there, I’m Caitlin.
Operations & Client Experience Lead
With 13 years managing finances for a successful Philadelphia recording studio, I understand the unique challenges creatives face. Now I bring that expertise to photographers with advanced certifications in cloud accounting and tax preparation.
What I Do: Lead team operations, quality control, and process optimization while personally reviewing all monthly bookkeeping. From managing irregular income flows to maximizing gear and travel deductions, I speak your language and understand your business model.
Why Photographers: You're juggling artist, marketer, customer service, and CEO roles—I get it. My goal is taking the financial burden off your shoulders so you can focus on what you do best: creating art.
When I’m Not Working: I'm wrangling my two little ones (ages 5 & 3) with my husband, or taking Sadie (our "is she part wolf?" husky) on her daily adventures. 🐾

Hi, I’m Alicia.
Tax Lead • Onboarding & Tax Expert
With a Bachelor's in Accounting and certifications in cloud accounting technology, I specialize in turning messy books into organized systems that fuel your photography business growth.
What I Do: New client onboarding is my specialty—I catch up years of bookkeeping, create quarterly tax plans to avoid April surprises, and prepare returns that maximize every deduction. I stay ahead of tax law changes so you capture every money-saving opportunity.
Why Photographers: You pour your heart into every shot—your financial systems should support, not hinder, that passion. I love the transformation from financial overwhelm to clarity and confidence, especially seeing that "aha" moment when you realize your finances can actually fuel your creative dreams.
When I’m Not Working: I'm cheering on my three kids (ages 20, 17, and 14) at sports and music events with my husband Bill, or caring for our menagerie—King Caesar and Miss Lucy (our dogs) and Frankie, our African Dwarf Frog. 🌺

Accounting lead • Sales Tax expert
Buffalo born and raised with a bachelor's degree in accounting and certifications in cloud accounting technology, I discovered early that financial data tells every business's story—now I help photographers write their success stories.
What I Do: Sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, monthly bookkeeping, and translating your financial reports into clear growth strategies. As our sales tax expert, I keep photographers compliant when selling across state lines while my detail-oriented nature ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Why Photographers: You have an incredible ability to tell stories through images—I love helping you understand the story your numbers tell. Whether you're managing multiple wedding bookings or building your portrait brand, I find joy in organizing your finances so you can see clear paths to growth.
When I'm Not Working: I'm enjoying life with my two rescue dachshunds who fill every day with playful antics and unconditional love, continuing my family's tradition of always having dogs as part of the picture. 🐶

Hi, I’m Kinney-Anne.
Accounting Specilaist
I’m from Waco, Texas, where I live with my partner and our two pups, Lizzy and Patches. I’m a certified bookkeeper currently pursuing my degree in Business Administration and Accounting, and I love helping business owners feel confident and supported in their finances.
What I Do: I’m passionate about creating organized systems, building genuine relationships, and being someone clients can rely on. As an Accounting Specialist, I help keep client books accurate, organized, and up to date by supporting monthly bookkeeping, transaction review, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and the day-to-day details that keep everything moving smoothly behind the scenes. I value honesty, communication, growth, and bringing a positive attitude into everything I do.
Why Photographers: To me, bookkeeping is about more than numbers — it’s about helping photographers create freedom, peace of mind, and confidence in the financial side of their business.
When I’m Not Working: you can usually find me planning my next trip, exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, or hanging out with Lizzy and Patches. I also love cozy nights at home, good music, and finding joy in the little things.✨

Hey there, I’m Virginia.
Accounting Specialist
I’m from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I bring a strong accounting background, a love for organized systems, and a client-focused communication style to the Bastian Accounting team. I enjoy being part of the behind-the-scenes support that helps photographers feel more organized, informed, and confident in their finances.
What I Do: I support monthly bookkeeping, transaction review, reconciliations, financial reporting, sales tax, contractor compliance, payroll-related tasks, and client communication. My role is all about keeping the details clean and organized so photographers have accurate books and financial information they can actually use.
Why Photographers: I love working with photographers because their businesses are built on creativity, care, and attention to detail. I enjoy helping bring clarity and organization to the financial side so they can make better decisions, feel supported, and focus more energy on their clients and their craft.
When I'm Not Working: I enjoy creating new art, spending time with my family, and traveling. A few of my favorite things include visiting California to see my husband’s family, improving my tattoo artistry skills, exploring new coffee shops, shopping, and creating new memories. ☕

Hi, I’m Joey.
Business operations & Media support
With a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Digital Music Production, I bring a mix of creative thinking, technical production skills, and behind-the-scenes support to Bastian Accounting. I help keep the team organized, client work moving, and our educational content flowing out into the world.
What I Do: I assist with business operations, administrative support, internal organization, podcast production, and social media. I also help produce the Financially Focused Photographer podcast, where we share practical financial education for photographers in a way that’s clear, approachable, and not painfully accountant-y. My work helps free up the accounting team to focus on bookkeeping, tax planning, payroll, sales tax, and the financial strategy our clients rely on.
Why Photographers: As a musician, I understand what it’s like to build something from your creativity — and I also understand that stopping to organize the business side is not always the most exciting part of the process. Photographers are creative business owners, and I like being part of a team that helps simplify the financial side so they can stay focused on their craft, their clients, and the work they love.
When I’m Not Working: I’m creating something — video essays, music videos, or new music. And when I’m not creating behind the scenes, I’m out playing shows. 🤟
