About This Role
Are you the person who lights up a room just by walking in? Do you get genuinely excited about helping small business owners succeed? We're looking for someone who can't help but share good news and gets energy from rallying others around a cause.
This unique position blends client success with growth marketing. You'll be the energy behind our marketing, the friendly voice in our community, and the enthusiastic connector between struggling business owners and the financial support they need.
You'll work closely with our founder to create content that resonates, build authentic relationships, and grow our community of empowered entrepreneurs.
What You'll Actually Do
Lead Response & Nurturing (40% of your time)
Respond to all website and email inquiries with enthusiasm and helpful information
Track all lead communications to ensure no one falls through the cracks
Conduct discovery calls (initially with founder, then independently) to identify good-fit clients
Create and present proposals including "What It's Like to Work with Us" videos
Guide qualified prospects through our application and decision process
Follow up persistently with warm leads
Content Promotion & Community Building (40% of your time)
Listen to each podcast episode to understand our message and value
Create promotional content to drive podcast listenership
Promote our digital coursework to photographers who need DIY support
Add new members to our private Facebook community
Engage with Facebook group members to build relationships and trust
Create daily social media posts that make financial topics approachable
Analytics & Growth (20% of your time)
Review data analytics to understand what attracts students and clients (we have dashboards built and will train you!)
Use insights to optimize our messaging and approach
Track conversion rates from inquiry to client
Test different promotional strategies
Make data-driven recommendations for growth
Who You Are
Required Experience:
2-3 years experience in customer success, community management, social media marketing, or sales
Demonstrated success growing online communities or social followings
Experience with service-based businesses (bonus if B2B)
Must-Have Skills & Qualities:
Proven ability to maintain enthusiasm over time - Your energy doesn't depend on your mood
Experience building online relationships - You know how to create genuine connections digitally
Basic comfort with data/analytics - You don't need to love spreadsheets, just not fear them
Strong written and verbal communication - Your warmth translates through any medium
Nice-to-Have (But Not Required):
Photography industry knowledge
Small business ownership or experience
Specific tools: Canva, CRM systems, email marketing platforms
Video creation and editing skills
Experience with Flodesk, Squarespace, Facebook Ads, or Google Ads
Basic accounting knowledge or willingness to learn fundamentals

The Accounting Knowledge Question
No, you don't need to be an accountant! You DO need to be:
Curious enough to learn basic concepts
Comfortable asking questions when you don't understand
Able to explain our services in simple terms
Interested in understanding our clients' challenges
We'll teach you everything you need to know about taxes, bookkeeping, and financial planning. What we can't teach is genuine enthusiasm for helping others.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $38,000-$40,000 with room for growth
